Case study · Property website redesign

The website sales now sends every buyer to first.

A property developer’s website took nine seconds to load, broke on phones and could only send buyers to the phone line. We rebuilt it around how people choose a home — and within three months, buyer enquiries were up 40%.

The challenge

A website that was getting in the way of sales.

The old site was not just dated. It was holding back sales in four specific ways — each one a reason a buyer might leave without getting in touch.

  1. Nine seconds to load

Buyers often arrive on a phone, straight from an ad or a search. The longer a page takes to appear, the more of them give up and tap back to the next developer’s project instead.

  2. Broken on phones

A layout that falls apart on a small screen makes a developer look careless — the wrong first impression when someone is weighing up one of the biggest purchases they will ever make.

  3. Enquiries by phone only — and untracked

Buyers who prefer to message, or who browse in the evening, had no easy way to get in touch. And with nothing tracked, there was no way to tell which pages or campaigns were bringing in buyers.

  4. Every edit needed a developer

The marketing team could not change even a photo without paying a developer. Keeping prices, photos and promotions current meant waiting — and paying — for every small change.

What we did

Four changes, each with a reason.

Every decision came back to one question: what does a buyer need to see — and be able to do — before they are ready to enquire?

  1. Step 1

    Restructured around the buyer journey

We organised the site around the questions buyers ask, in the order they ask them: which project, which unit, and how much.

Every project now has its own page with floor plans and transparent pricing, so a buyer can compare options without phoning first. Fewer dead ends means more people reach the point of enquiring.

  2. Step 2

    Rebuilt in WordPress with Breakdance

We rebuilt the site in WordPress using Breakdance, a visual page builder, on a lean base that keeps pages quick.

The marketing team now updates everything themselves — text, photos and whole project pages — with no code and no developer invoice for a new photo.

  3. Step 3

Bilingual Thai and English, with separate SEO

Thai buyers search in Thai; international buyers search in English. So the site is fully bilingual, and each language is optimised for search on its own rather than translated as an afterthought.

Each audience lands on a page written for them, in their language.

  4. Step 4

Enquiry forms and LINE on every project page, tracked in GA4

A short enquiry form and a LINE button sit on every project page, so buyers can get in touch the way they prefer, at the moment they are interested.

Every enquiry is tracked in Google Analytics 4, so the team can finally see which projects and pages are bringing in buyers.

The result

What changed after launch.

Four measurable changes — and what each one means for the people selling the homes.

  • +40% — Buyer enquiries in 3 months

    Before
Enquiries came by phone only, with no record of where buyers came from.
    After
A form and LINE on every project page, with each enquiry tracked in GA4.
  • 9s → 2s — Page load time

    Before
Nine seconds of waiting before a buyer saw anything.
    After
Two seconds, on a lean WordPress rebuild.
  • Page 1 — On Google for 3 project keywords

    How
Dedicated project pages, with separate SEO in Thai and English, give Google something specific to rank for each project.
  • 0 — Developer hours for content edits

    Before
Changing a photo meant paying a developer.
    After
Marketing updates photos, prices and project pages themselves in Breakdance.

Our website used to hold us back. Now it’s the first place our sales team sends every buyer.
